A woman and a man aren’t merely made with interchangeable pieces, identical emotional spectra, and indistinguishable personalities, as they’ve each historically played profoundly distinct and crucial roles in the shaping of society. We as a complex global civilization have truly flourished and advanced precisely because of the harmonious interaction between these two very different, yet equally vital, archetypes of people and their enduring contributions throughout the ages.
Is it inherently transphobic for me to sincerely believe that there is simply no woman out there who truly understands what it feels like to walk through this world as a man? There is undoubtedly so much more to the complex human experience of being a man than merely possessing facial hair, a flat chest, or even a male anatomical appendage. A person cannot simply take a dose of testosterone and automatically claim that they possess the lifelong, fundamental reality of being a man.
An adult man is the intricate culmination of every life experience he encounters from birth to the mature person he eventually becomes over the passing years. Throughout his journey, he constantly battles other men for dominance in the social hierarchy, tirelessly struggles to secure his place in line, and fiercely defends his hard-earned reputation against all challengers. Furthermore, a man is born with deeply ingrained instincts to protect his beloved family, his loyal friends, and his fundamental freedoms, determined never to cede what he has honorably earned through sweat and sacrifice to any other man.
You can’t simply slap on a mustache and a penis and call yourself a man. Men have more complex needs than just loving to play in the dirt with trucks when they were little boys. As a matter of fact, most of what men are is internal, with only a fraction being external. So, in attempting to look like a man, one only scratches the surface of what it’s like to be one.
A young boy constantly looks up to a grown man as a vital blueprint for how he should properly conduct himself when he bravely faces the complex world, both in his innermost thoughts and in his outward actions. Throughout his crucial developmental years, he actively models his developing character, daily behaviors, and personal values after his chosen heroes and the other honorable men whom he deeply admires.
Men are naturally endowed with biological advantages that generally make them stronger and faster than women, featuring greater bone density, higher muscle mass, and superior cardiovascular capacities. That is precisely why you currently observe numerous biological men participating and dominating in women’s sports categories, effortlessly crushing established female records and shattering long-standing athletic milestones that took decades to build. This fundamental physiological disparity is also the primary reason why you virtually never witness female athletes crossing over to compete in men’s professional or collegiate sports leagues and managing to attain any comparable level of competitive acclaim, success, or recognition whatsoever.
Playing with delicate dolls and wearing frilly dresses is almost nothing compared to the profound, complex reality of what it is truly like to grow up as a girl in this world. A young boy will never have to face the exact same societal expectations, relentless pressures, or quiet competitions as a little girl, and therefore he has no real idea of the myriad subtle experiences that ultimately shape her emerging womanhood.
Most women are naturally born with an innate capacity to contend with the profound subtleties and physical demands of pregnancy, as well as the continuous nurturing needs that follow thereafter. Because of their inherent biological predisposition and emotional resilience, they usually aren’t burdened with the same fragile ego often seen in a man, instead being completely and gracefully able to accept their vital role as the dedicated caretaker and emotional anchor of a growing family.
A mother possesses extraordinarily fierce and protective instincts designed intrinsically to safeguard the vulnerable children she has personally brought into this world; a man could never truly experience those deeply primal, physiological traits in the exact same profound way. Furthermore, a man will never physically nor emotionally comprehend the miraculous, demanding bodily transformation it takes to meticulously prepare for, naturally receive, and nurture a newborn baby throughout the remarkable journey of raising it, whether that child ultimately grows up to be a man or a woman.
We are each uniquely born into this intricate world to patiently bear each other’s unexpected inconsistencies and to actively procure gentle strength during another person’s difficult time of weakness. This profound reality is precisely why our individual roles differ so diametrically across society and why we fundamentally need one another just as much as we truly do to survive.
Children benefit so profoundly and uniquely from having the active presence of two parents of differing sexes inside the daily environment of the home. As they grow and develop, young minds naturally look to both maternal and paternal figures to figure out whom to naturally pattern themselves after and from whom they can learn essential lessons about how to care for, serve, and protect one another. A man simply cannot possibly feel or fully comprehend what it truly means to live life as a woman, which is precisely why people often have such a profoundly difficult time clearly explaining the complex, deeply internal reality of what it is to be a woman.
A woman can’t possibly ever fully understand or explain what it genuinely takes to navigate the world as a man, the profound psychological and emotional crises that he inevitably faces throughout the various stages of his life, and what it’s inherently like to naturally shoulder the heavy responsibilities of being a dedicated father, a supportive husband, and a dutiful son within the intricate fabric of society.
