Modern feminism has fundamentally evolved into the exact antithesis of true feminism, bearing virtually no resemblance to the noble movement that once inspired women to embrace their own unique strengths. Instead of empowering women to thrive authentically as women, contemporary culture now pressures them to emulate men entirely. The prevailing cultural narrative aggressively teaches that a woman can and should do anything a man can do, while stubbornly insisting that a modern woman should never have to rely on a man for anything.

Until literally a second ago in the grand sweep of human history, the traditional role of a woman was primarily to serve as a devoted caretaker to both her children and her man. She was solely tasked with the noble responsibilities of raising her children properly and maintaining a warm, nurturing home environment, which always stood as a profound source of pride for her and her immediate family. Meanwhile, traditional men felt secure and confident to step out into the world as a protector and provider, bolstered by the unwavering strength and support of a good woman standing firmly behind them.

In contemporary society, modern women are frequently encouraged to fiercely compete with men in virtually every arena of life, rather than embracing the traditional dynamic of completing a man and providing him with a genuinely safe, deeply caring household to return to. This cultural shift has fundamentally altered relationship dynamics. Consequently, most men are simply not looking for overly masculine, fiercely competitive women to intimately share the daily trials and triumphs of their lives; instead, men are authentically looking for their missing other halves, seeking out someone unique who can gracefully accomplish the things that they cannot do themselves and effortlessly be the vital sanctuary that they truly need.

A comprehensive look back through the vast annals of human history consistently demonstrates that a man is fundamentally driven by deep-seated evolutionary instincts to seek out a capable woman who possesses the essential qualities to successfully bear his children, nurture and raise a thriving family, and diligently keep a peaceful home. At the very same time, historical and anthropological evidence clearly reveals that a woman has traditionally sought out a steadfast provider and a reliable protector who can diligently secure resources and ensure safety for both herself and their vulnerable future family against the uncertainties of the world.

Ideally, a traditional man deeply prefers a woman who can gracefully stay at home, carefully protect his cherished children, and peacefully maintain a profound sense of domestic stability. He usually is not overly impressed or swayed by how many advanced degrees she has attained or precisely how much money she makes in her career, but rather by how seamlessly she can complement and enrich his everyday life.

A man is not looking for a simple friend or someone he can constantly look up to and admire, nor is he searching for a guiding figure whose admirable life he would ultimately like to emulate. A mature and thoughtful man inherently looks to other men, mentors, and peers for that specific kind of platonic camaraderie; rather, when it comes to romance, he deeply desires a woman who can uniquely be everything that he is fundamentally not.

Little girls are frequently and erroneously encouraged to look up to the idealized trope of a modern superwoman, a complex individual defined exclusively as a corporate boss, someone who can effortlessly navigate through a historically patriarchal man’s world with unwavering authority, one who proudly claims she doesn’t need anyone but herself to succeed, and one who ostensibly pretends she doesn’t need to rely on her natural looks.

There isn’t a place, however, in the Western world where a man is looking for a superwoman. He’d be just as happy with a grocery clerk making 15 bucks an hour, with no kids, good looks, and emotional stability. So women find they’ve spent the best years of their lives making big bucks, driving fancy cars, and earning vast degrees, yet real men don’t give a damm.
